Are you ready for a Ghouling Good Time?

Show off your Halloween costume at the 10th Annual Masquerade in Ghent Halloween Block Party and Costume Contest on Friday, October 30 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. This year's event will be held on the corner of 20th & Manteo Streets behind the Dog 'N Burger.

Arrive early...the costume contest registration will begin at 4:30PM. Judges will award prizes in several categories including Best Adult Costume, Best Children's Costume, Best Dog Costume, and Best in Show.

Enjoy live music from House on Fire, games for the kids & adults, refreshments and Oktoberfest Beverages.

Plus, masks from the "Mask Making Madness" contest will be on display as well as available for sale through the silent auction.

The event is free and open to the public. Ample parking can be found along the street and at surrounding shopping centers.
