The Ghent Business Association announces an upcoming event series "First Fridays in Ghent" which will focus on entertainment, dining and shopping late along Colley Avenue and 21st Streets.

First Friday will take place June 1, 2007 from 6pm - 9pm. The upscale, art crawl type event will have diners and shoppers enjoying historic Ghent with street musicians and entertainers, speciality retail shopping until 9pm at participating locations.

And if yo/'re not familiar with Ghent, have no fear! Volunteers will be out and about to assist with directions and answer general questions throughout the evening.
